Minimum monthly wages of Nepal reached NPR 15000
The Government of Nepal has set the minimum monthly wage for a worker at Rs. 15000. On behalf of the Nepal Government, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has announced this notice today. This minimum wages change will come in the effect from 1st Shrawan, 2078 i.e. 16th July 2021.
According to a source at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, a worker shall get paid at least Rs 15,000 plus Provident Fund and Gratuity. The minimum basic salary will be Rs 9,385. Meanwhile, the Ministry says the workers get around Rs 5,615 besides the basic salary as Dearness Allowance.
