Job Description
- Setting sales goals and meeting sales target.
- Creating and building a comprehensive sales plan (monthly/quarterly/yearly) to achieve goals and targets.
- Conducting sales forecast and forecasting future course of action for generating new opportunities.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of team members.
- Assign territories and set target for team.
- Developing and leading team through motivation, counseling and necessary training to achieve better result.
- Working on target vs achievement of sales.
- Ensure that company targets are met by holding daily check-ins with team members to set objectives and monitor progress.
- Making analysis of overall stocks available in Index’s warehouse, floor stocks in MT/SAMT and dealers’ closing stock.
- Prepare draft orders for Index as per current stock positions and ETA.
- Visit market frequently to ensure optimum stock level, stock position, product visibility etc.
- Identifying new target markets, and develop action plan to penetrate new market.
- Maintaining, growing and fostering relationships with dealers to drive long term growth.
- Work for new listing of Index’s brands in MT, SAMT and dealers.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Plan for liquidation of stocks position in Index’s warehouse and near expiries of floor stocks.
- Ensuring payments are collected on time and regularly follow up on pending payment collections.
- Analyze sales report, sales forecast and set goals and strategy for meeting those goals.
- Reporting to management about overall TGT vs Ach, team activity, stocks positions, payment collection, overall business position and so on.
- Provide reports as required, give feedback on market intelligence and competition.
- Working in guidance with management and reporting accordingly.
- Perform other required duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor/ Master's Degree in a related field.
- Min 3+ Years of experience in Manager Level.
- Good knowledge of Markets.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and Team Management skills.
- Good and effective communication and negotiation skills, leadership.
