Job Description
- Create and develop a long-term plan and strategy for development of the Women’s Fashion category.
- Achieve Business targets and have robust plans to adapt or manoeuvre as per category/business requirement.
- End to end ownership of products within category assortment/brand building to Customer Experience end to end.
- Manage a team of Vendor Management resources. Develop and coach team.
- Manage Portfolio of Categories: New brand acquisition, assortment acquisition at right price points based on data analysis, Shape long term portfolio expansion built on both micro and macro trends.
- Vendor sourcing strategy, vendor relationship management.
- Working closely with Digital/Marketing/Onsite teams to drive category sales. At the same time, manage and optimize marketing spends for the category.
- Category Analytics: proficient in analytics to identify growth areas and execute.
- Identify opportunities amongst stakeholders within the ecosystem and negotiate for barters to utilize each other’s strength to greater heights.
Job Requirements
- Masters in Management or Engineering.
- 3+ years of work experience in management consulting, technology industry, or other leading commercial roles functions (e-commerce experience preferred but not required).
- Excellent Decision Making, Analytical skills and Communication skills required. Must be Data Driven.
- Should have an initiative approach.
- Firm grasp over English and should be comfortable creating proposals or presentation slides as per the requirement.
- Should be eager to take ownership, make common-sense decisions, and be accountable.
- Ability to drive business like an entrepreneur and think like one is required.
