Project Manager - Import/Export

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing product selection and strategies for Daraz cross border business.
• For the success of the Cross Border business it will be required to be in frequent contact with colleagues from the regional cross border team, local category managers as well as seller management team in Shenzhen, China.
• The candidate needs to develop and maintain very detailed insights into the current Nepalese ecommerce markets to inform the product selection and pricing strategy vis-à-vis competitors.
• The candidate shall be sensitive to the customer journey on platform, and manage this experience, including the on-site cross border channel.
• This will include close coordination with teams from Customer Service, Marketing, PR & Finance
• For that purpose, the candidate must be aware of local campaigns, their relevance to Cross Border and ultimately manage CB’s participation in such campaigns
• The Project Manager of Cross Border will report to the Regional Head of Cross Border, as well as the Local Senior Manager.

Job Requirements

• Around 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role all of which has been gained from the logistics or e-commerce industry or in regulatory agencies related to import/export trade
• Minimum Bachelor ‘s degree in Supply Chain, Finance or Business preferred
