Beauty Advisor

Job Description

• Greet clients as they enter the beauty section of our store and offer to help them
• Ask customers questions to determine what they’re looking for and make product recommendations based on their needs
• Demonstrate how to use beauty products to our clients with in-store makeovers
• Design and maintain attractive displays to help us promote specific products
• Operate the cash register and handle customer complaints
• Sells beauty, hair, and skin care products (including cosmetics, serums, and lotions) when appropriate
• Advises clients on proper skin and hair care
• Manages stock and presentation of products

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as beauty advisor or similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of different kinds of cosmetics, and hair and skincare products
• Ability to demonstrate the proper use of various products
