Job Description

FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVE:

The role mainly involves speaking to customers about their vehicle needs, showing them cars that match those needs, organizing test drives, and ultimately selling a car to them.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and matching them to the most appropriate car.
  • Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of all cars, and providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models.
  • Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
  • Improving dealership image by accepting ownership for achieving new and different requests, searching for new opportunities to add extra value to job achievements.
  • Maintaining customer database.
  • Maintaining reporting structure and recording sales.
  • Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
  • Assisting with the set-up of showroom and promotional displays.
  • Assisting with the recovery of dues.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and rapport building.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office Package, email and basic functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in both English and Nepali.
  • Active listening to best determine a customer's wants and needs.
  • Persuasiveness to convince customers to make a purchase.
  • Confidence to create a positive impression on customers.
  • Negotiation skills to offer deals that satisfy customers while ensuring profit for the dealership.
  • Organization and time management to handle many different customers, including past customers, at once.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate sales with the financing department and/or other Salespeople.
  • Maintaining pleasant personality at all times.
  • A welcoming and friendly demeanor.
  • Passion for vehicles.
