Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for individuals who can positively drive the sales of glycobiology products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales of glycobiology products and services.
  • Measure sales force productivity and ensure effective implementation of established strategies. 
  • Identify, nurture, and act on opportunities with both new and existing customers through outbound and inbound inquiries.
  • Remove issues hindering the implementation of sales operations initiatives.
  • Effectively coordinate sales operation activities with other functions including services, consulting, and market analysis, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for proper utilization of internal resources.
  • Operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining focus and a customer-first attitude.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in biology or chemistry is preferred.
  • An advanced degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or other related fields can also be considered.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, sales enablement, and/or training, or with great potential for success in the sale of reagents and services.
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative behaviors, and outstanding negotiation skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in a team selling environment.
  • Experience in the glycobiology industry is preferred.
