Job Description
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage full P&L responsibility for the FMCG business vertical.
- Identify new market opportunities,product gaps and innovation possibilities.
- Lead annual business planning,budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
- Evaluate competitors’ inventory levels,supply chain efficiency and order fulfillment.
- Drive aggressive sales growth through General Trade (GT),Modern Trade (MT)and Ecommerce channels.
- Expand distribution footprint regionally and nationally.
- Build strong trade relationships and ensure strong in-store execution.
- Oversee development and positioning of the company’s FMCG brands.
- Devise ATL/BTL and digital marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Lead product launch strategies and consumer insights gathering.
- Ensure brand consistency,visibility and market presence.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement and logistics to ensure seamless product availability and cost efficiency.
- •Optimize working capital by managing inventory turnover and reducing wastage.
- •Ensure operational excellence and demand planning accuracy.
- •Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing,Operations and Finance.
- •Liaise with finance,legal,HR and supply chain teams for smooth business operations.
- •Engage with external agencies,vendors, media and partners for business expansion.
- •Regularly update leadership and board on business performance,risks and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or Economics (Master’s preferred).
- At least 7 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with proven expertise in sales, distribution, and business development.
- Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, GT/MT/E-commerce channels.
- Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and demand forecastingKnowledge of ATL/BTL marketing, digital marketing strategies, and product launch planning
- Ability to analyze competitor trends, consumer insights, and market opportunities.
