Inventory Lead

Job Description

• Manage end-to-end inventory operations to ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods while avoiding overstocking or stockouts.

• Optimize storage methods and space utilization across silos, cold storage, and warehouses.

• Implement data-driven controls to improve stock accuracy and reduce carrying costs.

• Utilize SAP or other digital tools for real-time inventory monitoring and reporting.

• Identify patterns leading to inventory damage, expiry, or obsolescence and implement preventive solutions.

• Oversee efficient and cost-effective dispatch of vehicles, ensuring timely movement of goods.

• Handle damaged or expired stock by performing root cause analysis and applying corrective actions.

• Conduct regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits to maintain high inventory accuracy.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process enhancement, space optimization, and team development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management.

• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, SAP, or other ERP tools.

• Experience managing storage facilities such as silos, cold stores, and large warehouses.

• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational timelines.

• Detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability.
