Dealer Sales Manager

Job Description

• Achieve dealership targets for sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement
• Maintain high standards of ethical behavior when representing the dealership to customers, vendors, and the community
• Foster a team environment that is focused on the customer and committed to achieving excellence
• Lead by example in all areas of customer service, product knowledge, and selling skills
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
• Maximize profitability by effectively managing expenses
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Maintain inventory at optimal levels to meet customer demand
• Negotiate pricing and terms with manufacturers, suppliers, and other business partners
• Prepare and deliver monthly sales reports to upper management
• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field
•  Must have 4-6 years of experience in dealer sales. 
• Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong understanding of the car-buying process
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and people management skills
