Job Description
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for heavy equipment vehicles in the assigned territory.
- Identify potential customers and build a strong sales pipeline through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist in selecting the right equipment for their needs.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Sales Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s heavy equipment products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
- Sales Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, activity reports, and customer feedback.
- Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and agreements are accurate and comply with company policies.
- After-Sales Support:
- Coordinate with the service and parts departments to ensure timely and efficient after-sales support for customers.
- Address customer complaints and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team, management, and other departments to achieve overall business objectives.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automobile or heavy equipment industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Knowledge of the local market in Birgunj and surrounding areas.
• Experience in selling heavy equipment or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of heavy equipment and provide technical advice to customers.
