Job Description
- Develop and implement category growth strategies for Rice & Pulses products.
- Lead retail sales planning, pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities to drive category performance.
- Coordinate effectively with sales, procurement, logistics, and distribution teams.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and performance across key markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen market presence throughout Nepal.
- Achieve category sales, growth, and profitability targets.
- Monitor category performance and prepare regular sales and market reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in the Rice, Pulses (Dal), and Grains industry.
- Strong experience in category management and retail sales across Nepal.
- Good understanding of wholesale market operations, especially within the Bagmati region.
- Strong network and market understanding within Kathmandu wholesale markets.
- Experience in category development, pricing strategy, retail sales planning, and market expansion.
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
