Job Description
- Handle daily purchasing and procurement operations efficiently
- Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials
- Maintain proper records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and supplier information
- Coordinate with different departments regarding purchase requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory planning and control
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards
- Track deliveries and resolve supply-related issues when required
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain documentation accurately
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement
- Prior experience in manufacturing, textile, processing, or industrial sectors preferred
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management
- Understanding of inventory control processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP systems, and procurement software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
