Job Description
- Lead overall sales and operational activities to achieve business growth and profitability.
- Take ownership of revenue generation (top-line) and profitability (bottom-line) targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, forecasts, and budgets to meet organizational objectives.
- Manage sales operations and ensure smooth execution across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, institutional clients, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage government projects, subsidy programs, and agricultural development initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Ensure efficient inventory planning and operational coordination with internal teams.
- Prepare business reports, sales analyses, and operational performance updates for management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and operations team to achieve performance targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in agricultural equipment sales, operations, or business management.
- Prior experience in tractors, rotavators, farm implements, agricultural machinery, or agri tools is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment, tractors, rotavators, implements, and agri tools.
- Proven experience in sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business development.
- Sound understanding of government procurement processes and agricultural subsidy programs.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic business plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
