Job Description

  • Develop and execute annual national sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Break down sales targets by province, region, distribution channel, and product category (SKU).
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, geographical territories, and sales channels to expand market penetration.
  • Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors across key markets and hub cities throughout Nepal.
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs).
  • Establish and track KPIs to ensure sales targets and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
  • Undertake joint field visits to monitor market execution, product visibility, merchandising standards, and customer engagement.
  • Train sales teams on product knowledge, objection handling, negotiation, and effective selling techniques.
  • Monitor collection cycles and ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and consumer behavior.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen market positioning and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management teams to develop and execute trade marketing initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of proven sales experience within the FMCG or Personal Care/Hygiene sector in Nepal.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior regional or national sales leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Nepal's FMCG distribution network, dealer management, and trade channels.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching abilities.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and market intelligence to make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Nepal as required.
