Welder

Job Description

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on heavy construction equipment and related components.
• Carry out bucket welding, pin and bushing repairs, and structural welding as required.
• Inspect damaged components and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications where applicable.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Ensure all welding work complies with company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain proper records of repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with workshop technicians and engineers to complete repair jobs within the required timeline.

Job Requirements

• Technical training or certification in Welding is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
• Prior experience in construction equipment bucket welding, pin and bushing repair, or heavy equipment maintenance will be highly preferred.
• Strong practical skills in MIG, TIG, ARC, or other industrial welding techniques.
• Experience in welding and repairing heavy equipment components.
• Knowledge of construction equipment bucket welding and pin & bushing work.
• Ability to identify welding defects and perform quality repairs.
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices and proper use of welding tools.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a workshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
