Job Description

  • Lead and manage overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and plant performance.
  • Ensure effective maintenance management through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor equipment reliability and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee production planning, quality assurance, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage plant budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Analyze operational data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel to build a high-performance culture.
  • Coordinate with corporate management and other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in cement manufacturing or a similar heavy industrial sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing plant operations.
  • Strong understanding of cement manufacturing processes and plant operations.
  • Proven experience in production management, maintenance planning, and operational leadership.
  • Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, resource allocation, and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
