Workshop Service Engineer

Job Description

• Perform inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of concrete pumps, boom pumps, SLMs, batching plants, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Read and interpret hydraulic circuits, electrical wiring diagrams, and control panel schematics.
• Carry out routine servicing to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and control panels.
• Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance records, and equipment inspection logs.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company service procedures.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers regarding equipment maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Experience working with concrete pumps, boom pumps, Self-Loading Mixers (SLMs), batching plants, or similar construction equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, control panels, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in workshop and field environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
