Field Service Engineer

Job Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment, including Backhoe Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, and Compactors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Inspect hydraulic, engine, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify faults and implement effective repair solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support and maintenance services at customer locations across Nepal.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with company quality and safety standards.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance practices when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, field service, workshop operations, or a related technical role.
• Candidates with experience in commercial vehicles, tractors, workshops, or garage maintenance are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components of heavy equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills for construction machinery.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in field environments and manage multiple service assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Nepal for field service assignments.
• Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
