Mechanical Technician

Job Description

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor machine performance and report any operational issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper use and handling of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, OR B.Sc. in Chemistry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of industrial machinery, maintenance practices, and technical operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and industrial practices will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is desirable.
