Job Description
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the general store, including receiving and processing of goods, inventory management, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement store policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Carry out the store’s operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees their work tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement in inventory management.
- Ensure proper planning to manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control to avoid any overstock and understock.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, stock movements, and other store operations.
- Ensure the records for all issued & received raw materials/goods have been maintained regularly in the ERP/SAP
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or disputes.
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs and suggest ways for cost-saving and innovation.
- Ensure that GRNs are accurately recorded and processed promptly
- Ensure timely movement of materials for minor equipment repairs within one day of receiving a request.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Inspect all stock deliveries and ensure all damage and discrepancies have been reported to account for reimbursements, record keeping or any other corrective actions (if any) to be taken
- Coordinate with the production team and Procurement/Logistics team for material
- moment and handling, movement of equipment, and any necessary minor repairs.
- Coordinate with the department heads and inspect every asset of the company properly.
- Provide training, coaching, feedback, and developments to improve the
- knowledge base and foster the performance of staff to maintain productivity.
- Motivate and lead the team, communicate, and handle grievances of the team for every day-to-day activity to provide sustainable solutions to create a healthy work culture and environment.
- Set objectives/OKRs/KPIs of the subordinates concerning company objectives and ensure their timely evaluation.
- Participate in Manpower planning and ensure optimal use of available manpower.
- Guide new employees, and ensure succession planning and retention of the department employees.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store/ inventory management.
- Bachelor's Degree Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
