Job Description

  • Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and utilities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to minimize production disruptions.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to optimize processes and ensure product quality standards are met.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and environmentally sustainable practices within the plant.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to recommend upgrades and enhancements to equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among plant staff.
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel as needed.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives related to plant maintenance and operations.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • At least 2 -3 years of working experience in a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of plant operations, maintenance practices, and process optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to plant operations, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
