Workshop Incharge

Job Description

• Supervise and manage day-to-day workshop operations
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance of technicians and mechanics
• Ensure quality service delivery and adherence to workshop standards
• Monitor job cards, service schedules, and timely completion of work
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools
• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness as per industry norms
• Handle customer queries and resolve service-related issues
• Prepare service reports and coordinate with management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Knowledge of workshop operations and service management
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office & ERP systems preferred)
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Understanding of automobile service standards and safety regulations
