Account Head

Job Description

• Supervise and manage the entire accounting cycle including accounts payable,accounts receivable,general ledger,inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and coordinate with financial institutions.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT,TDS and income tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with other departments.
• Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements for accounting systems and procedures.
• Train,supervise and mentor junior accountants and support staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparations and queries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and industry practices.
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting,Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as Head Accountant or in similar senior accounting role,preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g.Tally,ERP or other similar platforms).
• Understanding of Nepalese taxlaws,VAT and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership,communication and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity,attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
