Job Description

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Manage and forecast cash flow to meet operational needs.
-
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Support senior management in strategic planning through financial analysis and reporting.

Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory payments.

Train and supervise junior finance staff where applicable.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting, preferably in the education sector or corporate finance.

Excellent English (spoken and written).

Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, accounting software, ERP systems).

Strong knowledge of Nepali tax laws and compliance.

High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
