Job Description
- -Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality,cost, and delivery timelines.
- -Collect quotations,prepare comparative analysis and negotiate terms with suppliers.
- -Create and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
- -Maintain updated procurement records, including pricing,contracts and delivery schedules.
- -Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store/inventory teams and initiate purchase requisitions accordingly.
- -Track deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays with vendors.
- -Ensure timely procurement of critical materials without stockouts or production delays.
- -Collaborate with finance to ensure proper documentation for payments and vendor reconciliation.
- -Ensure procurement compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- -Assist in annual procurement planning and budgeting based on consumption data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software, inventory management tools and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with local vendor markets and logistics coordination.
