Procurement Officer

Job Description

• -Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality,cost, and delivery timelines.
• -Collect quotations,prepare comparative analysis and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• -Create and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
• -Maintain updated procurement records, including pricing,contracts and delivery schedules.
• -Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store/inventory teams and initiate purchase requisitions accordingly.
• -Track deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays with vendors.
• -Ensure timely procurement of critical materials without stockouts or production delays.
• -Collaborate with finance to ensure proper documentation for payments and vendor reconciliation.
• -Ensure procurement compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• -Assist in annual procurement planning and budgeting based on consumption data.
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software, inventory management tools and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with local vendor markets and logistics coordination.
