Mechanic for commercial vehicles

Job Description

• Perform inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
• Identify mechanical issues in engines, braking systems, suspension, and electrical components.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance of vehicles.
• Ensure proper functioning of vehicle systems according to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment used during repair and servicing.
• Report technical issues and repair status to the supervisor.
• Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures.

Job Requirements

• TSLC / Pre-Diploma / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field.
• 6 months-1 year of relevant experience in automobile servicing or commercial vehicle maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of automobile parts, engines, and vehicle systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in commercial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in servicing trucks, buses, or other commercial vehicles will be preferred.
• Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a workshop environment.
