Job Description
Property Maintenance & Structural Oversight:
- Inspect and assess the structural condition of the residence and surrounding facilities.
- Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation projects.
- Ensure all construction and repair work adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
- Monitor water supply, drainage, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems for efficiency.
Construction and Renovation Management
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors for new construction or renovations.
- Review designs, approve materials, and supervise on-site work.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of all construction and maintenance activities.
Household Operations and Staff Management
- Oversee the daily management of household operations and facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate household staff, including maintenance personnel, housekeepers, and security teams.
- Develop and implement schedules for cleaning, repairs, and inspections.
Budgetting and Procurement
- Prepare and manage the budget for property maintenance and repairs.
- Procure construction materials, equipment, and household supplies.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors and suppliers.
Security and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, electrical safety, and building safety codes.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and implement preventive measures.
- Oversee security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Personal Assistance and Miscellaneous Duties
- Assist the homeowner with property-related concerns and renovations.
- Handle emergency repairs and immediate maintenance issues as they arise.
- Maintain records of all repairs, upgrades, and operational costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is must.
- 5+ years of experience in property management,construction or facility maintenance.
- Prior experience in managing residential or commercial buildings is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles,building codes and safety standards.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to oversee budgets and cost estimates for construction and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency situations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
