Job Description

  • Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes using traditional techniques, including wok cooking, dim sum preparation, and regional specialties (Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, etc.).

  • Design and update menus to reflect seasonal availability and culinary trends.

  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, hygiene, and quality standards.

  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

  • Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient kitchen workflow.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Passion for authentic cooking and innovation in menu development.
