Sr. Procurement Officer

Job Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to foster long-term partnerships and achieve mutual goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of expereince in a similar field
• Bachelor's Degree 
• Should have knowledge of quotation preparation, 
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
•  Experience in managing supplier relationships and contracts
