Job Description
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce turnover rates
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and conducting investigations as necessary.
- Oversee the HR department budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HR certification preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Should have their own vehicle.
