Job Description

 

  • Greet guests upon arrival and handle check-in and check-out processes
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, including handling guest complaints and resolving any issues
  • Process guest payments and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, including reservations and billing
  • Manage the resort's switchboard, directing calls and taking messages as necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide information and assistance to guests
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the resort's facilities and services, as well as local attractions and events
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for front office operations 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Agent or Front Office Executive in a hotel or resort
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and property management systems
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for front office operations
