Job Description
- Greet guests upon arrival and handle check-in and check-out processes
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, including handling guest complaints and resolving any issues
- Process guest payments and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, including reservations and billing
- Manage the resort's switchboard, directing calls and taking messages as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to provide information and assistance to guests
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the resort's facilities and services, as well as local attractions and events
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for front office operations
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Agent or Front Office Executive in a hotel or resort
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and property management systems
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for front office operations
