Sr. Procurement Officer

Job Description

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiation: Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production needs.
• Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis to senior management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management 
• Minimum 4 years of experience in steels or manufacturing
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and reducing procurement costs.
• Deep understanding of steel grades, specifications, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
• Experience with quality management principles
