Sr. Claim officer

Job Description

• Assess and investigate insurance claims, determining coverage and liability.
• Analyze policy terms and conditions to determine claim validity.
• Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and other involved parties.
• Gather and review documentation, including medical records and accident reports.
• Evaluate damages and losses to determine appropriate compensation.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
• Provide support and guidance to junior claims staff.
• Collaborate with legal and other departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims activities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years in Claim department or MIS
•  Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of Primary and Secondary Sales, TDS and VAT
• Verification and processing of Distributors monthly Trade Scheme Expenses
• Knowledge of Debit and Credit notes
• Knowledge of Excel is a must.
