Job Description
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test routers, ONTs, IPTV/STB devices, Wi-Fi devices, and related electronic equipment.
- Perform component-level and board-level troubleshooting to identify hardware faults.
- Repair or replace defective electronic components such as capacitors, resistors, ICs, connectors, power circuits, and other parts.
- Conduct soldering, desoldering, rework, and circuit testing using appropriate repair equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic and testing tools to ensure accurate fault identification and repair.
- Perform functional testing and quality assurance checks after repair to ensure reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic internet connectivity and device-related issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure proper handling and storage of electronic equipment and components.
- Maintain daily repair records, inventory usage logs, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with technical, network, and field support teams for issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support for field-level diagnostics and maintenance activities when required.
- Follow workplace safety standards, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices, and operational procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging ISP, networking, IPTV, and consumer electronics technologies.
Job Requirements
- Diploma, CTEVT, +2, Bachelor’s Level, or equivalent technical training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Hardware, Networking, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in repairing routers, ONTs, STBs, mobile phones, laptops, televisions, CCTV equipment, or other electronic devices preferred.
- Fresh candidates with strong practical repair skills, technical training, internships, or service-center experience are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of electronic components, circuits, PCB troubleshooting, and hardware repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, desoldering, component replacement, and circuit testing.
- Knowledge of networking devices such as routers, ONTs, Wi-Fi devices, and IPTV/STB equipment.
- Familiarity with repair and testing tools including soldering stations, hot air guns, digital multimeters, DC power supplies, oscilloscopes (DSO), and related diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and basic internet connectivity issues.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good record-keeping, reporting, and inventory management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams.
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a two-wheeler.
