Job Description

  • Cost Management:
  • Finalization of rates with vendors to ensure the most competitive rate for goods/services.
  • Ensure optimum inventory levels for achieving cost savings without hampering the production process.
  • Cost saving and effective implementation
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Support to engineering store, maintenance team for better cordination to run plant hassel free
  • Day-to-day general activity:
  • Resolve all team member conflict, provide advice and counselling.
  • Taking care of all policy, legal & statutory issues
  • Internal Process:
  • Ensuring timely availability of Laminate material based on marketing plan.
  • Development and implementing procurement strategies , contingency plan and ensuring the alignment of the same with production requirement.
  • Purchase support to BABA JI & Sec-68 unit.
  • Project, Engineering, bill processing, payment Monitoring, management level approval
  • Technical Management:
  • Technical knowhow of different equipment suppliers for finding suitable equipment at competitive rate
  • Vendor Management:
  • Develop long term partnership with local, national and foreign suppliers, managing day to day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
  • Vendor Development & negosiation activities
  • Purchase Functioning:
  • Develop & Maintain Efficient workflow
  • Succession planning:
  • Identify & develop subordinated for critical roles
  • Technical Standards:
  • All technical issues related to raw materials, Laminates, Maintenance engineering information.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-5 years in purchase in FMCG
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
  • A deep understanding of the FMCG supply chain and industry trends.
