Assistant Manager - Logistic

Job Description

• Plan, manage, and monitor overall logistics and supply chain operations to ensure smooth business operations.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and inputs to avoid production downtime.
• Coordinate logistics planning with production schedules across multiple operational units.
• Optimize transportation, freight, warehousing, and distribution costs effectively.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain optimum stock levels in coordination with the inventory team.
• Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
• Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, shipping lines, and warehouse providers for efficient logistics operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of freight management, inventory control, customs clearance, and warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating with shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO systems and inventory optimization practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/inventory management systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
