Job Description
- Plan, manage, and monitor overall logistics and supply chain operations to ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and inputs to avoid production downtime.
- Coordinate logistics planning with production schedules across multiple operational units.
- Optimize transportation, freight, warehousing, and distribution costs effectively.
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain optimum stock levels in coordination with the inventory team.
- Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, shipping lines, and warehouse providers for efficient logistics operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of freight management, inventory control, customs clearance, and warehouse operations.
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO systems and inventory optimization practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/inventory management systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
