Service Technician

Job Description

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle batteries and electrical systems.
• Perform battery testing, charging, installation, and replacement.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure proper system functionality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of electrical components.
• Assist in diagnosing issues related to vehicle starting, charging, and electrical systems.
• Maintain service records and prepare reports on repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with team members to complete service tasks efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in good condition.

Job Requirements

• TSLC, Pre-Diploma, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Battery Technician or in a related field.
• Good knowledge of automotive batteries, charging systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and battery-related issues.
• Basic understanding of commercial vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
