Position: Software Project Manager (PHP Laravel Web Application) with JIRA/Confluence
Sprint Planning, AGILE knowledge
Job Summary:
As a Software Project Manager for a PHP Laravel web application with knowledge of
JIRA/Confluence Sprint Planning and AGILE methodologies, you will be responsible for
managing the software development life cycle of the project, from requirements gathering to
deployment. You will work closely with the development team, clients, and other stakeholders to
ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
standards. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, manage project risks, and ensure
that the project meets the client's business objectives while utilizing AGILE principles.
 

Job Requirements

Requirements:
1. 2 years of Project Management experience in the software domain.
2. Leadership Skills - highly pro-active, self-motivated, self-organized, decision-maker,
committed and an excellent team player.
3. Sound Knowledge and experience on Project Management tools and procedures.
4. Knowledge and experience of Agile development methodologies, will be an added
advantage.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop
team members
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with
stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Special Information

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage the software development life cycle of a PHP Laravel web application project,
from requirements gathering to deployment, utilizing AGILE principles.
2. Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and development team to define project
scope, requirements, and timelines
3. Responsible for requirement building, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release,
daily standups, reviews and overall execution.
4. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage project schedules to ensure
timely delivery of software products
5. Ensure that the project meets the client's business objectives and quality standards
6. Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders
7. Utilize JIRA and Confluence for Sprint Planning and other project management tasks
8. Identify and mitigate project risks, and manage project budgets
9. Set clear expectations, provide needed autonomy to team members, time monitor the
progress and give recognition for results.
10. Coordinate with other departments, such as product management and quality
assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of software products.
