Basic Information
Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain network, server, and firewall systems.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers.
- Provide technical support for network, hardware, and software-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain in-house servers, network devices, and workstations.
- Ensure smooth operation of Internet, VPN, LAN, and Intranet connectivity.
- Monitor bandwidth usage, system performance, and data processes.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, software licensing, and warranty claims.
- Escalate critical technical issues to appropriate vendors/service providers.
- Generate procedural documentation, installation guidelines, and IT reports.
- Travel to branch offices when required to provide technical support.
- Handle procurement and requisition of IT-related equipment.
- Maintain proper records and inventory of IT assets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewall systems, and server management.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
