Newspaper Layout Designer

Job Description

• Arrange page elements for advertisements, web pages, newspaper and magazines
• Make decisions about text sizes, style and fonts including text spacing and arrangement.
• Carefully check page proofs to eliminate errors and make sure that the design looks right before sending it to the press
• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts

Job Requirements

• Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
• Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
• Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
• At least two years' experience in the related field

Skill Requirements

Courses or Training.

Indesign /Freehand/ /Photoshop/Graphic design/Adobe Illustrator.
