Job Description

• Next Gen Sequencing using MiSeq Platform.
• DNA Sequencing by capillary electrophoresis using ABI 310 Genetic analyzer.
• Genotyping (Microsatellite analysis using ABI PRISM 310 Genetic Analyzer)
• Extraction of Genomic DNA (Tissue, Scat), Plasmids by maxi-preparation and mini-
• preparation and Restriction Endonuclease digestion.
• Extraction and isolation of RNA and monitoring its quality.
• DNA Preparation.
• PCR (Touch-up PCR, Nested PCR, Real Time PCR, Hot start PCR, Reverse transcriptase PCR,
• Multiplex PCR);
• Use of bioinformatics tools used for dry lab preparation. Primer designing, Gene Expression
• Sound knowledge of Screening and identification tests in Microbiology for a pharmaceutical
  company
• UV-Visible Spectrophotometry.
• UV visible and fluorescence Microscopy

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7- 8 years in similar sector. 
• Must have BSC/MSC Degree . 
• Sound knowledge of Screening and identification tests in Microbiology for a pharmaceutical company.
• Laboratory skills in handling Microorganisms from clinical specimens as well as
  environmental samples.
