Graphic Designer

Job Description

•  Design Layouts: 

   - Create eye-catching and well-structured page layouts for magazine articles, features, and advertisements. 

   - Ensure that the design elements align with the magazines' branding and aesthetics. 

• Visual Content: 

   - Design custom illustrations, infographics, and graphics to accompany editorial content. 

   - Collaborate with writers and editors to visually represent ideas and concepts effectively. 

• Cover Design: 

   - Design compelling cover pages for both ECS Nepal and ECS LIVING, capturing the essence of each issue and attracting readers. 

•  Advertisements: 

   - Work on designing advertisements for clients that adhere to the magazines' design standards and specifications. 

• Photo Editing: 

   - Edit and retouch photographs to enhance their quality and relevance to the content. 

• Creative Ideation: 

   - Contribute to brainstorming sessions for visual concepts, themes, and special features. 

• Collaborative Teamwork: 

   - Coordinate closely with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of visual and written content. 

   - Review and incorporate feedback from team members to refine designs. 

• Deadline Management: 

   - Meet project deadlines consistently and efficiently manage multiple design projects simultaneously. 

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the field of magazine publishing. 
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). 
• Strong design portfolio showcasing a range of creative work. 
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail, color, typography, and layout. 
• Understanding of design principles and the ability to adapt to different visual styles. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
