Fiber Technician

Job Description

• Install and splice fiber optic cables, connectors, and related equipment
• Ensure proper routing of cables and secure them in designated locations
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with fiber optic networks
• Replace or repair damaged cables, connectors, and equipment
• Splice and terminate optical fibers to connect them to various network components
• Conduct fusion splicing and mechanical splicing as required
• Use specialized tools and equipment to test and verify the performance of optical networks
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Work closely with other technicians and teams to coordinate installations and repairs
• Ensure that all tools are in good working condition

Job Requirements

• Must have SLC or above
• 1-2 years of experience in the FTTH field
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Must have a two-wheeler and a driving license
