Job Description

1. Sales & Operational Management:

a. Collaborate with Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager to develop Sales Incentives and formulate Sales Targets.

b. Formulate annual sales and shipment forecasts to align with A&SP/LE targets.

c. Develop strategies to grow Field Sales capabilities and ensure Excellence in Execution at Points-Of-Sales.

2. Budgetary Control & Management:

a. Prepare and monitor Sales Department OPEX and Sub D CAPEX.

b. Liaise with Finance team to ensure SOP compliance and budgetary awareness among Sales Team.

c. Develop and communicate discount pricing structures in line with Company goals.

3. Sales Policy and Procedure:

a. Ensure adherence to Sales policies and procedures.

b. Act as a key liaison with Finance team internal auditors and support audits of Sub D offices.

c. Coordinate the process of appointing and/or terminating Sub-Dealers.

4. Cross-Functional Support and Coordination:

a. Work with Strategic Insights, Brands, and Field Marketing Team to understand market dynamics and develop effective field execution strategies.

b. Align with Regional Sales Manager on Field Force initiatives and route planning.

5. Process Improvements:

a. Establish Sales trends and identify gaps.

b. Analyze Sales data to support Management in decision-making.

c. Conduct Field visits to verify trends and ensure effective cycle planning.

6. People Management:

a. Lead and motivate the Team towards meeting business goals.

b. Develop direct reports to reach their full potential through monitored development plans.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification: Master's Degree/ Bachelors Degree can apply
  • Experience: 8-10 years in an FMCG Sales environment.
  • Education: University degree in economics, marketing, management, or a related field
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Nepali.
  • Functional Skills:
  • Proven track record in leading Field Sales Teams.
  • Strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
