Account Officer

Job Description

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and reconciliations. 
• Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and reports to analyze financial performance. 
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, assist in tax preparation, manage stock levels, and conduct regular audits. 
• Liaise with suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage vendor accounts. 
• Oversees the day-to-day workflow and assignments of service/ sales staff. 
• Maintain a stock record of the showroom and stock of stockyard vehicles.
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management, accountancy, or a related field.
• Experience: At least one year of related experience working in accounting or finance, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Critical thinker with high proficiency in math.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and IT skills.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting soft
