Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure that the team works efficiently and adheres to quality standards.
• Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of products.
• Implement and maintain an organized inventory system, including regular stock checks and audits.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Officer to manage stock levels and replenishment strategies.
• Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the store's standards.
• Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in shipments.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and other technology tools to optimize warehouse processes.
• Train staff on the use of technology to enhance efficiency.
• Generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping performance.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient storage and retrieval of products.
• Plan for seasonal fluctuations in inventory and adjust warehouse space accordingly.
• Address and resolve any issues related to damaged goods, shipping errors, or other warehouse discrepancies.

Job Requirements

• Proven 2 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics coordination.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
