Job Description
- Use your expertise optimally by contributing and committing to the business growth.
- Be responsible to run all laboratory operations as per the standard guidelines.
- Adhere to guidelines and regulations of the regulatory and accrediting bodies and ensure accurate test results.
- Be accountable to the Management for the reports of the tests done in the laboratory.
- Direct to manage reagents and consumables used and to keep the records with signature, date and time.
- Monitor laboratory staffs in terms of their skills, learning attitude, punctuality, regularity, professional behavior and responsibility.
- Perform the performance appraisal of the staffs of the laboratory in every six months.
- Guide the concerned staff members for daily routine works, schedules and other works in order to avoid any hindrance in laboratory services.
- Facilitate the laboratory staffs regularly with updated knowledge and skills as and when required.
- Support the Management Team in resolving in-house conflicts if arisen and mediate among the concerned authorities to resolve issues as and when required.
- Guide the staff members to handle on-duty grievances.
- Supervise day to day laboratory activities and prepare a report of the supervision weekly, monthly and annually.
- Assure the quality of the laboratory services provided to the clients round the clock.
- Provide your expertise to the Management Team in strengthening and broadening the laboratory services.
- Coordinate with Nepal Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) and other concerned authorities to run ‘A’ grade as well as ‘B’ grade laboratories categorized by the Government of Nepal.
Job Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in similar sector.
- BSC completed can apply.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
