Job Description
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations within a specific region, ensuring that sales targets are met, and distribution and Key partners relationships are maintained. This role
- requires overseeing sales activities, managing a team of sales representatives, and collaborating with the head office to implement strategies that increase market share and revenue within the region.
- Job Description:
- ?Delivering Sales Target assigned to Region.
- ?Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and goals.
- ?Delivering Sales Volume Primary and Secondary target assigned.
- ?Review and approve route plans for each DSR to ensure maximum coverage of target areas, efficient travel times, and
- prioritization of high-potential outlets.
- ?Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to expand customer base and market share.
- ?Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, and partners in the region.
- ?Driving Local sales promotion schemes, Visibility campaigns and new product launches. Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and product launches within the region.
- ?Monitor sales performance, guide to the sales team to meet the sales target
- ?Report regional sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to the Sales head.
- ?Monitoring Budgets and utilizing the same to optimum level.
- ?Ensuring proper claim management, handling compliance issues.
- ?Analyzing competition scenario & reporting the same.
- ?Review and approve route plans for each DSR to ensure maximum coverage of target areas, efficient travel times, and
- prioritization of high-potential outlets.
Job Requirements
- ?Strong regional market knowledge and customer insights.
- Qualification: Bachelor/Master’s Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in FMCG Market.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams to meet targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and report on performance.
- A results-driven, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reporting:
- Daily reporting- Track and report daily primary and secondary sales figures to monitor performance against daily targets.
- MIS report: Prepare and submit a Monthly Information System (MIS) report consolidating sales data, including market insights, competitor activities, and team performance metrics
- Weekly stock report: Monitor and report weekly stock levels at all the distribution points to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Debitors reporting/ collection: Regularly update and report on the status of outstanding payments from distributors and dealers, monitoring payment terms and credit limits.
- KYC of Distributor and Dealers: Collect, verify, and maintain updated KYC documentation, including business credentials, financial information, and contact details, for all partners and do the regular audits to ensure compliance and enable smooth operations within the distribution network.
