Job Description
- Independently leading the QC and Technical team for Nepal Operation and responsible for all pre-production and production activities.
- Plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of product to confirm quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.
- Collaborating with the Studio Team and Partner Factories on all pre-production and production activities.
- Holding regular meetings and training sessions where required with internal teams as well as Partner factories to improve quality and meet testing requirements.
- Organizing and managing all pilot, inline, and final inspections at regular production intervals following required AQL.
- Holding daily/weekly meetings with the team to evaluate style progress based on quality parameters and delivery schedule.
- Initiate corporate end - line auditing project & train management on RFT & ISQ concept commencing from fundamentals to reduce quality cost.
- To proactively identify potential quality (including Fit) problems prior to order placement (risk assessment) develop standards of excellence, continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to quality assurance team that includes systems, policies, procedures and core process.
- Establishing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability in the organization as well as put out higher quality goods.
Job Requirements
- Deep product development and manufacturing efficiencies expertise.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in apparel industry
- Supply chain knowledge across multiple product categories. Especially in garment and/or textiles.
- Full command over AQL & 4-points inspection systems & Line system workings.
- Working knowledge of AQL benchmarking, factory audit and compliance standards for WRAP, production processes within Lean and Sig Sigma.
- Accustomed to working with senior management and teams overseas.
